What’s on offer?
Fulton Hogan is proud to have been awarded the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract with the Department of Transport and Planning, starting 1 July 2026.

This means we will be on the ground delivering critical road construction, maintenance and resurfacing works throughout the Loddon Mallee Region, including:

  • Working on planned maintenance programs designed for long-term performance
  • Rebuilding and rehabilitating major road sections
  • Delivering high-quality resurfacing works across priority networks
  • Responding to urgent repairs to keep roads operational

As a result, Fulton Hogan is looking for an Administrator/Accounts Officer based in Kyneton, to provide essential accounting and administrative support to our VRMC team. This role plays a key part in supporting project delivery by ensuring accurate financial processing, effective office coordination, and high-quality administrative support across the team. You will assist with monthly reporting, preparation of job reports and analysis, and provide day‑to‑day administrative support in a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and office support under minimal supervision.
  • Answer incoming calls and manage internal communication requirements
  • Maintain manual and electronic filing systems
  • Coordinate office supplies, travel, and accommodation bookings
  • Ensure records are maintained to meet employee, organisational and statutory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality at all times
  • Process invoices in JDE, including vendor setup, invoice processing and purchase order management.
  • Support job costing activities for Fulton Hogan plant and equipment.
  • Manage corporate credit card administration.
  • Assist with monthly reporting, job reports and basic financial analysis.
  • Provide JDE system support and assist with ongoing user training.
  • Deliver general administrative and systems support to the team as required.

About You

You will hold a Certificate III in Business Administration or have 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within civil, construction or government environments. You will also bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with financial systems and data.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
  • A proactive, team‑focused approach and strong communication skills.
