About the role

AGL’s Talent Solutions Team is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner for a 6-month fixed term opportunity.

AGL is one of Australia’s largest energy generators and retailers, and our people are what make that possible. Our Talent Solutions team partners with hiring leaders across engineering, technology, energy markets, corporate and operational functions to bring the right talent in at the right time.

Based in Melbourne, you will be a trusted advisor to hiring leaders across the business, balancing strategic priorities and resourcing requirements while showing commitment to the candidate experience.


What you’ll do:

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across a diverse and interesting portfolio of roles
  • Partner with our leaders to build hiring strategies that match business priorities
  • Develop proactive sourcing approaches for critical, emerging, and high-volume roles
  • Advance AGL's Diversity and Inclusion commitments through smart, data-informed sourcing
  • Collaborate with our Talent Brand Lead to bring our EVP to life
  • Contribute to internal mobility, workforce planning, and continuous improvement
     

What you’ll bring:
 

  • End-to-end recruitment experience in large and complex organisations
  • Comfortable advising and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders and candidates
  • Experience partnering with P&C on workforce planning or talent initiatives
  • Genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion, shown through sourcing, assessing and partnering
  • Success in delivering hiring outcomes through proactive sourcing
