Based in a small to mid-size, standalone hospital located in North Ryde
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Storeperson to contribute to the maintenance, accuracy and delivery of inventory within a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this hands-on position, you will play an important role in driving efficiency throughout the supply chain process by ensuring that stock is ordered, received, and delivered in a timely and effective manner.
Your work will directly support clinical teams by ensuring they have the supplies they need, when they need them.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining the day-to-day accuracy of stock levels across wards, theatres, and central stores
Scanning, ordering, and receipting goods in line with hospital supply procedures
Delivering stock to departments on schedule and obtaining signed confirmation
Investigating supply issues and sourcing alternatives when stock is delayed or unavailable
Conducting regular stock takes and assisting with goods returns and documentation
Liaising with department heads, couriers, and vendor representatives to support efficient supply chain operations
Supporting WHS, infection control, and departmental quality initiatives
Experience in supply chain within the healthcare or medical device sector is essential, along with a deep understanding of the urgency and responsiveness required in a hospital setting.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirements in your CV and a 1-2 page cover letter:
experience working in a warehouse environment in a hospital or medical device organisation setting
Strong attention to details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions clearly and interact with team members and other departments
Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently, ensuring smooth daily operations workflow
Effective time management to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure timely order fulfillment
Proficiency in warehouse management system and intermediate computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting
Experience working in a purchasing/warehouse department, preferably in health sector
Experience in handling customer inquiries and addressing concerns related to warehouse activities is highly regarded
