We are seeking 3 x experienced Site Lead – Electrical Fitter to supervise field crews delivering switching, maintenance, replacement, and construction works across substations within the Evoenergy network. In this role, you will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards, in compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and timeframes.

As the Site Lead, you will champion strong safety behaviours, provide technical guidance, and coach team members to support performance and capability development. You will oversee the effective use of people, plant, equipment, and materials, utilise IT and other technologies to improve productivity, and ensure accurate and timely reporting on incidents, job completion, attendance, and material usage.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Deliver and supervise electrical fitter works across Evoenergy’s electricity network, ensuring safety, quality, timeliness, and minimal customer impact
  • Lead day‑to‑day site operations, including safety, resources, contractors, scheduling, reporting, and budget control
  • Coach, mentor, and manage team performance, attendance, and KPIs, while fostering strong safety culture and stakeholder relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams, standards, and external contractors to resolve issues, coordinate outages, improve work practices, and achieve program outcomes
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
  • Trade qualified with Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) and an unrestricted Electrician Construction Occupation Licence
  • Proven experience delivering works within electricity distribution networks, including metering, services, and construction activities
  • Strong knowledge of electricity network infrastructure, field operations, and construction and protection standards
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising technical teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance
  • Hold relevant licences including EWP High Risk Licence and a current ACT Driver’s Licence (or equivalent)
