What’s the role?

We are currently looking for an additional Service Technician with mechanical and electrical experience to join our growing team. As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible to install, service and repair a range of packaging equipment including Pallet Wrappers, Strapping Machines, Battery Strapping Tools and more.


You’ll be someone that loves to solve problems and provide great customer support. Beyond repairing and maintaining our customer’s equipment, you’ll also provide them with reliable technical support over the phone or in person – helping to fulfil our “thrill the customer” promise.


Based at our Lytton, QLD head office, some of your work will be carried out in our own workshop whilst other times you will travel to our client’s premises throughout South-East Queensland.


Your key duties will include:

  • Install and commission of new equipment
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Attend to priority breakdowns
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support, over the phone and in person
  • Provide accurate, detailed and itemised reports of all service, installation and breakdown calls in a timely manner

To be successful, you must have:

  • Previous experience in similar technician role, ideally in mechanical/electrical field
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills – the ability to ‘figure it out’
  • Highly organised and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership
  • Excellent communication skills – great at relationship building
  • Good computer literacy and experience with MS Office, Word, Excel.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and rights to work in Australia


This role is based in Lytton, QLD. It is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
