About the Project
ACCIONA delivers complex civil, transport and water infrastructure across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Our teams work on large multi‑discipline programs involving rail, roads, structures and water assets. These projects improve connectivity, resilience and liveability for communities across the state. We partner with clients and industry to apply technical expertise and sustainable construction practices.
About the Opportunity
As Senior Project Engineer, you lead planning and delivery across defined packages of work. You coordinate engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and guide technical, commercial and quality outcomes. You report to the Project Manager and work closely with construction, commercial, safety and design teams to keep delivery on program. You provide clear direction, uplift capability and ensure standards are met across all stages of delivery.
What are the key accountabilities for the position?
- Lead package delivery and achieve program milestones
- Manage engineering, quality and design interfaces
- Drive cost control and support commercial decisions
- Oversee subcontractor performance and compliance
- Conduct risk reviews and apply mitigation actions
- Build strong stakeholder and client relationships
- Coach engineers and support development plans
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- Proven experience on major infrastructure
- Strong commercial and subcontractor skills
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Rail, road or water delivery experience ideal
