About the role
Join our Trades Team as a qualified Painter and help keep Parramatta’s public spaces and facilities looking their best through high‑quality painting and maintenance work.
What your day to day may look like:
Carrying out painting, signs/graphics and other tasks across Council facilities and public areas
Inspecting sites to identify maintenance needs and reduce safety risks
Completing scheduled programs of work efficiently and to a high standard
Using Council systems (including iPad/Worx Online) to record work and complete admin tasks
Supporting other teams during wet weather or emergency situations
Providing feedback on tools, materials and ways to improve how we work
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,402.31 to $1,543.77 plus 12% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
