Job Description
About the Role
Acciona is seeking a Project Engineer – Camps to support the planning, delivery and operation of workforce accommodation camps across a major infrastructure project. This role is critical to ensuring camps are safe, compliant, fit‑for‑purpose and aligned with construction sequencing and workforce needs.
Reporting to the Project Manager – Camps, Logistics and Plant, you will work closely with construction, HSE, environment, land access and service providers to deliver high‑quality camp facilities throughout establishment, operation and demobilisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, establishment and delivery of workforce accommodation camps
- Coordinate camp infrastructure, utilities and service interfaces
- Assist in managing contractors and service providers delivering camp works
- Ensure camp works comply with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Support commissioning, operation and demobilisation of camp facilities
- Conduct inspections, manage defects and support rectification works
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and cost tracking for camp activities
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Experience as a Project Engineer / Site Engineer on construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of site establishment, temporary works or facilities delivery
- Sound knowledge of safety, environmental and quality management systems
- Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
