About the Role

Due to rescheduling recently undertaken, Kent Projects is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join the Ampol Future Fuels Project in Lytton commencing March onwards. Multiple contract opportunities are available to support fabrication and installation work on this large-scale energy infrastructure project.

Job Details

Location:              Lytton, QLD
Hourly Rate:         $65.82 per hour plus allowances and penalties
Hours of Work:     Monday to Friday day shift, 50 hours per week plus Saturday shifts available

Your Day to Day will include:

•    Fabricate and install small & large bore piping including cutting, threading, grooving and bevelling to drawings and specifications
•    Install valves, fittings, supports and complete flange management & fit-up documentation
•    Interpret isometric & P&ID drawings to complete work accurately and to quality standards
•    Work collaboratively while maintaining strong safety compliance on site

About You:

•    Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
•    Proven experience with carbon steel, stainless steel & Inconel piping systems
•    Strong ability to read fabrication drawings (Isometric & P&ID)
•    Current White Card, Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 3 years) and a valid Driver’s Licence
