<\/p>The Positionâ¦<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>With the recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in their engineering facility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in the mechanical industry, with a diversity of projects and skills. <\/span>
<\/p>Key responsibilities include:
<\/div>- Preparation and assembly of manufactured components<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Assembly of service modules and water carts<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Installation and securing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Manufacturing or modifying components<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Reading and interpreting drawings or specifications<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Maintaining and adhering to health and safety in the workplace<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment<\/span><\/a>

<\/span> <\/div>The normal business hours of operation are as follows: <\/span>
<\/div>6am to 5pm Monday to Thursday; <\/span>
<\/div>6am to 3pm Friday to Saturday.<\/span>

<\/div>Your hours of work would include:
<\/div>- Normal hours \- 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday<\/span>
<\/li>- Normal hours \- 6 hours Friday<\/span>
<\/li>- Overtime when required<\/span>

<\/div>The Ideal Candidate⦠<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>The ideal candidate will have the following:<\/span>
<\/p>- Trade certificate relevant to your trade (Cert III or higher)<\/span>
<\/li>- Valid Australian C Class driver's licence (HR highly desirable, but not essential)<\/span>
<\/li>- Full Australian working rights<\/span>
<\/li>- Current High\-Risk License â Forklift (preferred, but not essential) <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Previous experience of road trucks and LVâs<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- National police clearance (or willing to obtain)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Intermediate computer skills (preferred, but not essential)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Strong commitment to safety and quality<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Motivated, hard\-working and a positive attitude<\/span><\/span>
