What We Offer

• Casual outage role: DIDO outage located at Orica Yarwun, QLD, with potential for additional project or outage work
• Pay Rates: Competitive EBA rates + 25% casual loading + overtime penalties (from base rate) + site allowances
• Project Dates: Commencing early May 2026, with pre shutdown works available from 05/05 and a short shutdown scheduled 18/05–22/05
• Outage Roster: Day and night shifts, 11-hour shifts
• Other Benefits: LAFHA or accommodation provided for eligible distant workers 

The Opportunity 
Our Energy and Utilities business has opportunities for casual Mechanical Fitters for an outage located in Gladstone, QLD. You will provide your expertise within an outage environment performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, valve and RV change out's, confined space isolations, gauze changeouts, hydro testing, plate cooler exchange, installation of pipe work and flange management.

About You

• Site Proficient: Proven experience working in a heavy industry or shutdown environment
• Team Oriented: Strong ability to work effectively within a team, supported by clear and well-developed communication skills
• Workplace Safety: Demonstrated commitment to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade; Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202E); Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E – current within 2 years); Construction White Card
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to obtain a QLD Explosives Security Clearance
