Roster: DIDO from Chinchilla, QLD on a 5:2 roster with weekly site travel

The Role

The Maintenance Manager, operational delivery will be your primary focus, whilst ensuring consistency and client relationships are developed and maintained. The integrity of the facilities is to be managed through the identification of project improvements and compliance to the client’s processes. 

As part of your role, you will effectively manage direct reports at Supervisor, Leading Hand, Trades and sub-contractors. You will manage the execution of approved asset management plans and operational practices to provide reliable and predictable performance for the designated portfolio of assets.

The position will suit an organised, motivated and driven individual and will see you working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, therefore, your people management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business is critical to your success in this role.

About You

  • Ability to travel safely to and from work
  • You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
  • Trade/engineering background and you are someone who has a sound understanding of the operations and maintenance environment within Facilities Management & Asset Management sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in compliance requirements for buildings
  • Demonstrate the consistent delivery of service and meeting contractual targets according to budget constraints and scope of works.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements, regulations and standards
  • Proven record in financial and budget management coupled with broad people management skills, including performance management.
