With one of the strongest Civil Infrastructure project portfolios in the market, we are currently seeking applications from Senior Civil Engineers, experienced in local land development and civil infrastructure design, to be involved in a variety of projects in design and construction phases including industrial subdivisions, water and sewer reticulation, roads, drainage, earthworks, municipal works and civil site works.

How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

In this senior role, you’ll lead the delivery of civil and land infrastructure projects across both design and construction phases, combining technical excellence with project and client leadership. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, you’ll help shape practical, high‑quality outcomes for a broad range of projects across civil, land and water infrastructure. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring engineers within the team and building strong, long‑term client relationships, contributing to the continued growth of Aurecon’s Land & Water capability. Here are the key things you’ll do to bring ideas to life:

• Lead and deliver land development and civil infrastructure projects across design and construction phases
• Manage and oversee the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings and documentation
• Provide technical leadership across projects including industrial subdivisions, roads, drainage, earthworks, municipal works, water and sewer reticulation and civil site works
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, sub‑consultants and contractors
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting technical excellence and professional growth
• Work collaboratively within a diverse, fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Ensure designs comply with Australian and Victorian standards, council requirements and authority approvals

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Part A & B - Water Supply and Sewer Design Assurance Scheme – Accreditation Key Personnel (MRWA)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, teamwork and self-motivation
• Skills in the design and documentation of civil infrastructure to Australian and Victorian standards
• Demonstrated experience liaising with clients, sub-consultants and contractors
• Design skills with a background in roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, water and sewer utility services designs, pavement design
• Advanced knowledge of industry design software, 12D and AutoCAD (preferred)
• Experience in the construction phase of civil infrastructure projects
• Thorough understanding of Council, Service Authority and DTP requirements
