Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on farm machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot diesel engine and mechanical issues
  • Repair or replace defective components to minimise downtime
  • Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, inspections, and adjustments
  • Ensure all machinery is operating safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
  • Identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to support production targets

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic (agricultural experience highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
