The Opportunity
Downer is seeking applications from HVAC Technicians to join our team supporting a major decommissioning and replacement project at the Wheatstone Camp, WA. This role will focus on the removal, isolation, and decommissioning of two large Air Handling Units (AHUs) servicing the kitchen and dining facilities. Each AHU is supported by four condenser units, with the scope of work also including the removal of all associated external ductwork. This is a project-based role, initially offered as a casual 4-month assignment, with the potential for further work opportunities.
About You
- Trade Certificate III – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- WA Driver’s Licence
- WA Restricted Electrical Licence
- White Card / Construction Induction
- High-Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
- Working at Heights - Completed within last 2 years
- LVR & CPR – Completed within last 12 months
- Refrigerant Handling Licence – Desirable
- Prior experience with large AHUs is highly advantages
