  Position Summary:  

  • Responsible for managing the planning and executing HR activities, programs and initiatives - creating a space for associates to gather and belong 

  • Manage the onboarding of new associates and review all employment contracts 

  • Be a part of something bigger by managing and facilitating the new associate's programs whilst liaising with other key departments leaders 

  • Interview managerial candidates whilst supporting other departments throughout the recruitment process 

  • Manage all areas of recruitment whilst following talent acquisition requirements 

  • Strategically manage all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with the Human Resources Team – inviting, welcoming and connecting with each associate 

  • Plan, organise and execute TakeCare events and activities, creating a caring community that empowers associates to grow and reach their full potential.   

  • Strategically create the hotel’s talent acquisition strategy, networking with local organisations and attending external recruitment fairs 

  • Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position 

  • Ensure you and the team maintain employee files containing required employment paperwork and are secured for the required length of time, focusing on attention to detail 

  • Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs 

 About You: 

  • Relevant experience in a similar managerial role 

  • Strong knowledge in employment law 

  • Working rights in Australia 

  • Enthusiastic to escalate your career 

  • Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment 

  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
