Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the planning and executing HR activities, programs and initiatives - creating a space for associates to gather and belong
Manage the onboarding of new associates and review all employment contracts
Be a part of something bigger by managing and facilitating the new associate's programs whilst liaising with other key departments leaders
Interview managerial candidates whilst supporting other departments throughout the recruitment process
Manage all areas of recruitment whilst following talent acquisition requirements
Strategically manage all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with the Human Resources Team – inviting, welcoming and connecting with each associate
Plan, organise and execute TakeCare events and activities, creating a caring community that empowers associates to grow and reach their full potential.
Strategically create the hotel’s talent acquisition strategy, networking with local organisations and attending external recruitment fairs
Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position
Ensure you and the team maintain employee files containing required employment paperwork and are secured for the required length of time, focusing on attention to detail
Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs

Relevant experience in a similar managerial role
Strong knowledge in employment law
