The Opportunity

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team from the 5th January! This role will see you performing various domestic and housekeeping duties around the hospital. You will need open availability across a 7-day roster including morning and afternoon shifts.

Your duties will include (but not limited to):

• Maintaining the Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres.
• Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas.
• Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.

• Prior experience in hospital or aged care housekeeping role (Desired)
• Prior housekeeping experience
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable).

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
