What does the job look like?

Due to internal promotion, we're currently seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our Sydney operations. This is a casual day shift role, with consistent hours starting between 4 and 5AM, and regular overtime available. You’ll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries of paint and industrial products across the Sydney Metro area, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and with a customer-first mindset. The role is primarily based at Marsden Park, NSW, but may require flexibility to operate from other Linfox sites as needed. Key areas: 

• Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  
• Ensure all freight is securely loaded and restrained in accordance regulatory standards
  
• Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety issues
  
• Adhere to all road safety regulations, compliance and company policies
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at every delivery point
  
• Complete all required delivery documentation accurately.

• A current and valid HR Licence
• Demonstrated experience in multi-drop deliveries within the Sydney metro area
  
• Confidence operating Electronic Pallet Jacks (EPJs), tailgates, and using straps and chains for load restraint
  
• A flexible approach to working across different Linfox sites
  
• Proven ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
  
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence
  
• A positive attitude and proactive mindset — you take pride in doing the job right
