THE POSITION 

As Head of Talent Acquisition, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Compass Group Australia’s national Talent Acquisition function. Leading a team of experienced TA leaders, you will ensure high-volume recruitment delivery, support complex contract mobilisations and demobilisations, and position the business to respond proactively to evolving labour market conditions. 

  • Lead and develop a national team of Talent Acquisition Team Leaders and recruitment teams 

  • Own national recruitment performance, workforce risk and mobilisation readiness 

  • Partner with People & Culture, Sector Leaders and Workforce Planning to align talent delivery with business demand 

  • Set the national direction for candidate experience, EVP delivery and recruitment operating rhythm 

  • Drive continuous improvement through data, insights, technology optimisation and disciplined governance 

THE PERSON 

You are a senior Talent Acquisition leader with a strong enterprise mindset and experience operating in complex, high-volume environments. You are commercially astute, calm under pressure and confident influencing at executive level. 

  • Proven experience leading large, national Talent Acquisition functions 

  • Demonstrated success leading leaders of leaders and building sustainable capability 

  • Strong background in workforce mobilisation, high-volume recruitment and labour market navigation 

  • Experience partnering with workforce planning and senior business leaders to mitigate talent risk 

  • Data-informed, outcomes-focused and comfortable driving change at scale
