Job Description

Electrical Trade Assistant  l  Full Time Casual  l  $35 pr hr

🛠️ Opportunity:

Electrical Trade Assistant required who supports qualified electricians and service technicians in maintaining and repairing light towers, generators, and engines.

About the Role:

• Assembly & Looming: Assisting in cable work, loom making, and precise assembly of electrical components for power generation equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Helping repair and maintain plant equipment, specifically Perkins engines and FG Wilson generators.
• Workshop Support: Operating hand and power tools, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the workspace remains safe and organized.
• Field/Site Support: Assisting with the commissioning and installation of diesel engines and mobile lighting units

🎓 Experience:

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
• Tickets & Licenses: A valid White Card (safety induction) is essential.
• Forklift License (LF) 
• Previous experience in a workshop or heavy industrial environment is highly regarded

💰 Benefits: $35 pr hr

🕘 38 hours/week Monday to Friday
