About the role:

With 5 main sites across Australia and New Zealand our distribution centres are the heartbeat of bringing our Bunnings stores to life.

Each year, over 1,000 dedicated team members unpack approximately 60,000 shipping containers, pick close to 8 million orders for our stores, and handle nearly 3 million pallets. Our team ensures the smooth dispatch of around 1.5 million pallets to our stores annually.

You will be responsible for supporting the safe and smooth delivery of stock to our stores, working alongside a fast-paced team in an operational distribution environment.

What’s involved:

  • Load and unload products using a forklift (high reach and counter balance forklift)

  • Be responsible for stock management, considering safety aspects when using a forklift, and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment

  • Provide our customers with the best experience across the store

  • Be part of a supportive and inclusive team who make a difference to the community and have fun along the way

Who we’re looking for:

Safety is our top priority, and we need team members who can think and act safely in a fast-paced distribution centre environment.

Never worked in a distribution centre before? If you have the right attitude, we’ll make sure you have the skills to get the job done. We believe in empowering our team members and providing the training you need to succeed.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • A current forklift license (high reach and counter balance forklift)

  • Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries or picking and packing of orders, or voice picking is ideal but not essential

You’ll need:

  • A current valid forklift licence (high reach and counter balance forklift)

  • To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers

  • An eagerness to learn about products and services

  • To act with integrity, be safe and do your best

  • The availability to work flexible hours (including late nights, early mornings and weekends)

When you’re ready to give this opportunity a Red Hot Go, all you’ll need to do is:

  • Submit an application and complete an online chat interview (20 minutes)

  • If successful, next step includes an online video interview (15 minutes)

  • If you’re a match, we’ll invite you to an onsite meet and greet with our leaders (20 minutes)

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
