The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cost Controller to support effective cost management across our E&U Power Projects portfolio. Reporting to the Lead Cost Controller, this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and financial visibility across projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders to provide insights that drive performance and optimise outcomes.

This is primarily an office-based role with occasional site visits, offering exposure to complex, large-scale infrastructure projects and a highly collaborative team environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain accurate project cost forecasts and budgets 
  • Monitor cost performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights 
  • Ensure costs are captured correctly across WBS/CBS structures 
  • Support project claims, billing, and cash flow forecasting 
  • Collaborate with project teams to manage changes and optimise financial outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in cost control, finance, project administration, or similar 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (accruals, revenue recognition) 
  • Commercial acumen with ability to interpret contracts 
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to build effective relationships across project teams
