Are you a skilled Plumber ready for the next step in your career?
We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing Technician who wants more than just day-to-day service calls. This is an opportunity to combine your trade expertise with coordination responsibilities across a large and complex campus environment.
In this role, you will remain hands-on with plumbing systems, while also acting as a key on-site contact, supporting minor works, coordinating contractors, resolving technical issues, and helping ensure facilities operate efficiently.

Your plumbing trade is the core requirement. Exposure to broader building services or minor project coordination is advantageous, but not essential. Support and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor works
Act as a key contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
Supervise contractors and oversee works to meet safety, quality, and budget requirements
Inspect and monitor building systems, logging and tracking maintenance activities
Support continuous improvement initiatives across facilities
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and UQ safety requirements
We’re seeking experienced licensed Plumbers with a strong background in maintenance across large or complex facilities.
You will bring:
QBCC Plumbing Licence (essential)
Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance
Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
Strong understanding of plumbing systems and building services
Solid problem-solving capability and ability to manage competing priorities
Good communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
Nice to have, but not essential:
Exposure to broader building services environments
Experience coordinating minor works or contractors
Interest in developing project or contract management capability
You will also:
Be willing to participate in an after-hours on-call roster
Have basic computer skills for job logging and reporting
