The Opportunity:
The Attractions Training Coordinator will coordinate, oversee and monitor the implementation of all Attractions training and compliance documentation in line with Safety Case and the VRTP Training and Assessment Strategy across Movie World and Sea World.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor compliance and implementation of the Attractions Training & Assessment Strategy adherence to expectations set in the Safety Case.
• Manager the Ride Operations Assessors to ensure ride operator performance standards and targets are being met.
• Conduct ride operator Visual Evaluations, monitor performance of ride operators via site visits, assessing levels of guest engagement, communication (verbal and physical), diligence in safety checks and efficiency. Identify performance trends in ride operators, implement strategies to manage risks.
• Oversee the document review schedules, monitor completion rates of all training and competency associated tasks, identify risks of non-compliance to deadlines. Assist in the document review process and complete updates as required.
• Coordinate and execute park operations ERT and training drills, including debrief and follow up actions.
• Provide support and feedback to the Park Supervisor team regarding Ride Trainer performance. Assist in performance management and mentoring as required, as well as recruitment planning.
• Collate ride operator feedback relating to all facets of training, operation and team member support via direct consultation and online surveys. Complete annual scheduled consultations with ride operators that directly influences the Training & Assessment Strategy. Report on results, implement amendments as directed by the Operations Mangers and Park Supervisors.
• Support and assist in performing ride operator training as required.
• Supervise Ride Trainers and team members as they train in the positions. Provide feedback, determine competency and complete training records and tests

What We're Looking For:
• Thorough understanding of amusement device environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills coupled with good administrative and computer skills.
• Professional attitude with a high level of confidentiality.
• Previous industry experience in a Supervisory role required, experience in a trainer role an advantage.
• Proven team focus and ability to work effectively with the Operations Management and Supervisory teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility with roster requirements, including early starts or late finishes if required.
• The ability to use your initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Cert IV Training and Assessment modules completed or a willingness to complete these modules is required.
• Understanding of the application of Safety Case advantageous.
