The opportunity
We’re looking for an Amenities and Maintenance Cleaner to join our Public Place Cleaning team in the East of our Local Government Area – spanning across Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay, Fingal Bay, Corlette, Soldiers Point, Salamander Bay, Anna Bay, Boat Harbour, Fisherman’s Bay, and One Mile.
Our Amenities & Maintenance Cleaners play a key role in our community, providing a cleaning service to the Port Stephens area for public areas, maintenance of grounds and buildings (both internal and external amenities), vehicles, trolleys, chemical decanting, and cleaning of barbeques.
Although working alone at times, you will be working around our community members, which means you will need good customer service skills as well as cleaning experience.
This job is perfect for candidates who love an early start and early finish, with shift hours starting at 4:30am and finishing at 1:30pm. Please note; there is opportunity to opt-in to work on a rotating roster for weekend overtime.
